We are an organization that supports Ontario based businesses by sharing their journeys, the hoops and hurdles that they have faced along the way, what inspired them to start their businesses as well as any significant milestones they have reached.

We will be highlighting the journeys on this blog, as well as across all of our social platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

As we grow, we imagine that our outreach will as well. The sky is the limit with this organization and how many businesses we can support and share the journeys of.

In addition to being a business that supports local businesses, we are also a stream for entrepreneurs to gather insight on how others became successful and learn from others stories.

  Hydrogreen Irrigation Inc. was started back in 2008 by Brandon Happeney. They offer irrigation services for residential, commercial and sports fields. They are located in and around Barrie, Ontario, but travel into the GTA for jobs as well. Brandon and a friend started their irrigation business when they were eighteen/nineteen on the side while they were working for another irrigation business. They were using the equipment from their full-time job, but were also compensating their boss completely for the use of equipment. This may have lasted 2 months, and their boss at the time approached them saying that they were basically competition now, and that he would have to fire them. Bloom Club: Cultivating Joy and Connection for Young Women Navigating Cancer

When Sara and Shanna were both diagnosed with breast cancer during the pandemic, they were thrust into one of life’s most difficult challenges at a young age—and in isolation. With hospitals enforcing visitor restrictions and social circles shrinking under lockdowns, their journeys through cancer treatment were marked not only by physical hardship, but also by an overwhelming sense of loneliness. But from that hardship, something beautiful began to bloom. Sara, a former primary school teacher, and Shanna, a registered nurse, met on Instagram. Their shared diagnosis— invasive ductal carcinoma —and mutual feelings of isolation sparked a powerful bond.
